Measuring Functions:
Density - up to 2.5D
Density difference
Dot Area
Dot Gain
Auto-Function
When you need a general purpose densitometer for checking tints, and measuring ink densities, look no further than the Ihara R720 - you won' find better value or a more accurate instrument!
The R720 allows you to measure tints, to check patches on control strips for tolerances on dot gain. On press, it will enable you to set up to achieve a consistent ink densities across the web, and to maintain those levels throughout the run. It is not limited to just the 4 standard process colours, but can be used in the same way to measure tints and maintain consistency of any colour during a press run.
Top Performance & Reliability Made in Japan by Ihara Electronic Industries, the R720 has proven reliability and accuracy.
Menu Driven Commands Simply select the required functions from the on-screen menu - you won't ever need to read a manual. Clear and precise instructions for every measurement are displayed on the large LCD screen.
Help Key Displays explanations for all measuring functions, along with answers to FAQs.
Upgradeable Design If you need extra features in the R730 models, you can upgrade later at a nominal extra cost.
Quick Calibration Recalibrate the unit in seconds.
Auto Function Automatically measures density or dot gain.
Printer & Computer Interface Configurable RS 232 serial interface provided for connecting to a PC or printer.
